Maira Farm
Haymarket, Virginia
Our private farm where regenerative methods are put into practice, helping us learn how to improve food quality while caring for soil, animals and the land.
Better food begins with living soil. We practice regenerative farming on our private farms and share practical methods across a growing farm community—improving food quality while protecting the earth.

Tell us what your household is interested in. We work with private and commercial member farms to connect families with food and shared learning. Each producer confirms its practices and seasonal availability; fulfillment arrangements are agreed separately.
Interest inquiries are not orders or reservations. Prices, quantities and schedules are confirmed directly. Milk-share inquiries require a separate discussion about program terms and eligibility.
Our mission is to improve the quality of the food we produce while restoring the land that sustains us. We practice regenerative farming on our private farms and share what we learn so other farms can adapt it—without turning Earth into Mars.
Encourage living soil, ground cover, responsible water use and grazing practices suited to each member farm.
Discuss pasture access, feed, shelter and animal care with the producer. Farm-specific practices belong in the conversation.
Our direction favors non-GMO feed and growing practices that reduce synthetic inputs. Ask each farm about its actual methods; certification and product claims must be supported.
Build practical knowledge through farm stories, mentoring and community collaboration. Small improvements become useful lessons for others.
Maira Farm and Altay Brothers Farm are our private farms in Haymarket, where we practice regenerative farming and develop lessons that other farms can adapt. Pasture Promise brings this learning to a growing network of farms and homesteads.

Bring your story, practices and goals. We begin with a conversation and a review of fit.
Member farms are private properties. Visits require an invitation. Pickup and delivery arrangements are confirmed separately; private farms are not public storefronts.
Pasture Promise coordinates connections, food interests and community programs. Participating farms grow and raise the food. Our private practice farms help develop and share regenerative methods. In partnership with MarsTech Media, we help farms develop income opportunities and organize their operations to make farm life better.
Introduce your farm and goals. Review pasture, soil, feed, water and animal-care practices together, then agree participation expectations and product-specific information.
Explore recurring eggs, produce boxes and other food interests. Subscription schedules, pricing, quantities and fulfillment are confirmed before any commitment.
Discuss mentoring, screened community opportunities, farm-steward roles, resources or sponsorship. Each role has agreed responsibilities and participation terms.
Member practices and claims are reviewed individually. Pasture Promise does not currently offer an independent certification. Marketplace ordering, payments and producer accounts are planned.
Choose food, farm membership or a way to contribute.
Discuss needs, availability, practices and participation terms.
Confirm arrangements with the relevant farm or community coordinator.
Food interests, farm stewardship, knowledge and useful resources all help build the network.
